I often talk to people who say, “I know what to do, but I’m not doing what I know,” or “I’ve read a lot of personal development and self-help books, but I have trouble applying it.”

It’s not that you don’t know what to do, but there’s a key principle you must understand in order to align your behavior to do what you know.

As human beings, we are wired to avoid pain and seek pleasure. I have found (and I know this is true for me), that people often change when they have reached enough pain.

In moments when we no longer are willing to settle for discomfort, we make a decision from thinking about what we want — to actually doing it!

We have enormous power and the ability to shift our perspective and make NEW associations, which will ultimately change the actions we take.

Fieldwork:

Emotional stack all the reasons why NOT changing would be painful and why making a change TODAY would be pleasurable.

It’s time to do what you know!
